Meine Monographie «Race in Post-Racial Europe: An Intersectional
Analysis» ist bei Rowman & Littlefield International erschienen.
_Race in Post-racial Europe _zeigt auf, wie _Race_ durch Geschlechter
und Sexualitätspolitiken seine unmarkierte Position hält. Analytisch
arbeite ich mit den Begriffen des Postrassialismus (post-racialism) und
des Antirassialismus (anti-racialism). Postrassialismus, also die
Vorstellung, dass _Race_ als Herrschaftskategorie überwunden wurde, wird
im Buch aus einer dezidiert intersektionalen Perspektive theoretisiert
und mit Postfeminismus in Dialog gebracht. Das Buch beleuchtet die
gemeinsamen Logiken von Postrassialismus und Postfeminismus und
kritisiert, wie beide Logiken als liberale Widerstandsstrategien gegen
Anti-Rassismus und Feminismus funktionieren.
